Biography
Prof. Huilin Chen is the PI of the National Key Research and Development Project of China “Evaluation of Methane Emissions estimates using Satellite and surface monitoring - methods and standards research (EMES)”, and has published more than 60 SCI papers, with more than 2000 WOS citations.
What You Can Expect in the Project
The students are expected to participate in the atmospheric measurements of CO2, CH4, and N2O by using a mobile van and an unmanned ariel vehicle (UAV), to analyze the collected data sets through using atmospheric modeling, and to compare the results with inventory estimates of CH4 and N2O.
Application Specific Requirements
Bachelor program in the fields of atmospheric science, meteorology, environmental science, applied physics, etc.
